Descent into Hell

After an undead horde attacks the prospecting town of Merzell’s Fall, the heroes investigate the Harvest Zone and discover brain-eating zombies harvesting a strange, pulsing object from the undead. Their pursuit leads into a mine, where a runaway mine cart and an attack by mysterious nebulim leave them at the edge of an apparently bottomless pit. The adventure centers on descending into the depths to confront outsiders from the negative energy plane. It is designed for four 6th-level characters and can be played as a standalone adventure or as part of a larger undead-themed mini-campaign.
