Three linked cases set in 1980s Los Angeles. Players investigate a single unfolding story across separate scenarios, exploring the city’s drug scene and institutional obstacles. Gameplay has players adopt investigative roles, gather evidence, interview suspects, and use new stakeout and observation mechanics to monitor targets. Decisions can involve controversial or legally questionable tactics, and administrative constraints influence how inquiries proceed. Cases connect narratively, with choices carrying consequences that affect later chapters.
