Players take the roles of insomniacs who have entered the Mad City, a distorted reality filled with Nightmares and other dangers. Their strange abilities help them survive, but exhaustion and madness are resources that can be used at a cost. The game focuses on making risky choices, confronting threats such as the pursuing Paper Boys, and staying awake through one more night. It uses a dedicated system and is contained in a single book.
