Choose from named or generic mercenaries, three dog breeds that gain experience and abilities, and ten familiars that grant benefits to wizards. Mercenaries fight in a similar manner to enemies, offering a streamlined option for solo play, while dogs and familiars grow more effective as their bonds with heroes strengthen.
