Dystopian Wars: Core Rulebook

An alternate 1870 where the Industrial Revolution accelerated technological development, producing steam-powered dreadnoughts, land ironclads, giant robots and armed airships. Players field fleets and squadrons across naval, land and aerial theatres and can combine them in mixed battles. Gameplay uses a D6-based core engine for movement and combat, with fast-play rules designed to handle large forces in a couple of hours. Players activate individual squadrons, construct fleets from national forces, and resolve actions using unit stats, abilities and optional 52-card decks that introduce random events and tactical modifiers. Scenarios support one-on-one or multiplayer formats, with emphasis on fleet composition, maneuver and concentrated fire to achieve objectives.
