A prominent merchant in Grangor dies suddenly after making his fortune through a voyage to the legendary southern continent of Uthuria. The investigation leads through grand merchant palaces, seedy taverns, and tenements half-submerged in the Waat, uncovering the city’s tensions between wealth, trade, poverty, and crime. This group adventure for 3–5 experienced heroes focuses on investigation, social interaction, and occasional close combat. It is set in Grangor from 1038 BF onward and is suited to characters with criminal insight and social tact.
