Elements of Magic (Revised Edition)

A modular magic system for d20 fantasy games replaces memorized spells and the standard “fire and forget” casting model. Characters build magic users from flexible spell lists and a magic point system, combining effects and elements to create their own spells. The rules can supplement an existing campaign’s wizards, sorcerers, clerics, and druids, or replace its entire magic system. Characters use a single spellcasting level while developing multiple magical abilities, allowing effects such as evoking fire or lightning, transforming light, or combining forces to create unusual results.
