A group of people wakes in a secluded cabin with the door secured by a combination lock and the windows barred. Players examine a mysterious book, a spinning code dial, and scattered clues to decode numbers, uncover hidden items, and open new areas of the cabin. The game plays as a cooperative puzzle experience: discuss observations, manipulate components, solve logic and pattern puzzles, and enter solutions to progress. Hints are available to prevent dead ends, and success requires combining evidence from multiple clues to reveal the escape combination.

Very good escape game. Some puzzles are very difficult and others are somewhat easy, but none too much! Altogether, it was a very satisfying experience that I'd recommend to everyone into enigma/puzzle/escape games.

Unlock : on aime plutôt bien à 2 ou 3, pas plus (taille des cartes). Celui ci était parfois tiré par les cheveux et on aime vraiment pas abîmer le jeu.... Alors ok, il n'est pas très cher. Mais au delà de 3 joueurs on ne voit rien, on attend de voir les indices, bref on s'ennuie. Le format escape game n'est vraiment pas aisé à rendre en jeu de cartes. On apprécie les escape box (avec plein de sous boîtes à se partager....) mais ce format minimaliste ne nous attire pas plus que cela, voilà c'était notre avis !

Can we look through the book or the fronts of the cards before we start?

No — do not leaf through the book or look at the fronts of any cards until the game tells you to; start the stopwatch and then you may look through the book and begin (pages 2, 7).

When can we use the strange items that came in the box?

Only when the book explicitly tells you you've found them; until then leave the strange items untouched in the box (page 3).

If an Answer Card looks like the code is right, can we keep that card out or do we have to return it?

Return all Answer Cards to the Answer Card pile whether the code is right or wrong; the Answer Card will tell you how to continue but must be returned (pages 4–5).

Is it okay to just try all possible number combinations on the decoder disk until something works?

No — all codes can be solved logically and you should not try all possible combinations on the disk; if a code is incorrect the Answer Card will tell you and you must keep searching (page 5).

Can we use a Help Card even if we haven't found the riddle with that symbol yet?

No — Help Cards only apply to the specific riddle identified by their symbol, and they won't help if you haven't found that riddle (pages 5–6).

Are we allowed to write on, fold, tear, or cut the game materials?

Yes — writing on, folding, tearing or even cutting the materials is allowed and sometimes required, but note the game is intended for one playthrough (page 6).
