In the arctic barony of Icenvale, a white dragon has ruled from the shadows for centuries after stealing the rod of rulership and killing the last baron. The barony’s rightful heir, a popular young paladin, cannot claim power without the rod, while ancient prophecy forbids Icenvale’s people from recovering it themselves. Designed for 12th-level characters, this adventure sends the party into the dragon’s lair to confront the dragon, its young, and its secret supporters. Success can restore the barony’s ruling line or determine a new future for Icenvale.
