Flames of War: NUTS – The Siege of Bastogne – Battle of the Bulge, December 1944

Set during the Battle of the Bulge, this game covers the German advance toward Bastogne, the seven-day siege by four German divisions, and the American defense led by the 101st Airborne Division. The siege is broken by the arrival of the 4th Armored Division, followed by an American counterattack. The game also includes Operation Nordwind, Hitler’s final offensive in the west, as German forces attack American positions along the Maginot Line in Lorraine. Players recreate these linked engagements through tactical combat and scenario-based play.
