Flames of War: Overlord – The Allied Invasion of France

This book covers the Allied forces that assaulted the French coast in 1944 to liberate it from German occupation. It includes American paratroopers from the 101st Airborne, the 29th Infantry Division at Omaha Beach, British armoured spearheads at Villers-Bocage, and the 2nd Armoured Division advancing through the bocage. It complements Atlantik Wall, which covers the German forces.
