Game Master's Guide to Kaidan

A fantasy role-playing setting of Japanese horror, Kaidan is a cursed archipelago where restless dead, undying rulers, oppressive samurai, demons, and shapeshifting creatures shape daily life. The setting draws on Japanese history and folklore to present a land trapped in a cycle of death and rebirth. The guide details Kaidan’s history, peoples, races, religions, provinces, governments, geography, flora, fauna, and adventure seeds. It also includes rules for dying in Kaidan, setting-specific magic, and material for creating Pathfinder adventures featuring dark magic, samurai, and oni.
