Gate of Light

Players take the roles of a space-faring mercenary crew hired to discover what happened to a missing search-and-rescue team. After an emergency landing strands their damaged ship on an uncharted planet, they uncover secrets buried there for ages. This story-focused roleplaying game uses the Protocol system and requires no gamemaster. Players establish roles, introduce twists, and shape the plot and ending together without a preset script or endpoint. A complete story can be played in under four hours.
