Gestalt: The Hero Within (M&M 2E edition)

A superhero setting where characters embody archetypes and concepts rather than merely possessing extraordinary abilities. Heroes may represent Strength, Speed, Cleverness, an element, a martial art, or an ideal such as Kindness or Cruelty. They act as living symbols, demonstrating their chosen portfolio, supporting its followers, and advancing its principles through their actions. The setting combines the style of superhero fiction with the roles of mythological gods, as characters champion concepts and become involved in conflicts shaped by their symbolic identities. Designed for campaigns using the Mutants & Masterminds 2nd Edition rules.
