A Hero System roleplaying guide to creatures of darkness drawn from folklore and myth. It presents traditional versions of vampires, lycanthropes, ghosts, ghouls, wights, zombies, and less familiar beings such as the old hag and witiko, along with selected cinematic interpretations. The book includes background information and dozens of monster sheets representing basic creature templates that can be customized for play. Additional sheets cover infamous figures and creatures including Dracula, Jack the Ripper, and the Beast of Gévaudan.
