A village setting for fantasy roleplaying campaigns, Golden Valley is a former sleepy thorp transformed by the discovery of gold. Boss Corl controls the flow of wealth while miners, adventurers, and treasure hunters struggle with inflated prices and dangerous working conditions. The gold supply is dwindling, accidents are increasing, and rumours tell of sightless creatures in the deepest caverns. The setting provides locations, background details, and adventure hooks for use as a waystop, an adventure site, or a player character’s home.
