Hard Boiled Ideas: Armies

This supplement expands Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition from character-scale combat to medium- and large-scale military conflicts. It explains how to build armies using existing game tools, introduces a sample military tradition, gritty combat options, seven military force feature powers, and six ways to involve player characters in battlefield action. It includes three sample forces and a detailed invasion scenario in which the players defend a city against five enemy armies. Printable map tiles, counters, and power cards support play.
