Hexcrawl Basics
A guide to the mechanics of running hexcrawl campaigns for OSR-style games, with a focus on Old School Essentials. It covers travel between hexes, exploration within a hex, getting lost, populating hexes with lairs, and determining the ranges of monsters inhabiting them. The methods can also be adapted for other fantasy roleplaying systems.
