Hostile Rules

A gritty, near-future science-fiction roleplaying game set among mining installations, industrial facilities, hostile planets, harsh moons, and utilitarian spacecraft. Based on the Cepheus Engine, it features detailed task resolution, expanded character creation, survival hazards, stress and panic, tactical and starship combat, vehicle rules, and procedures for operating in space. Players manage trade, salvage, exploration, and encounters across colonies, planets, starports, and deep space. Referee guidance, NPC team rules, setting information, encounter tables, and replica documents support campaigns in a dangerous retro-future universe.
