Imperial Town of Tell Qa (Free RPG Day 2007 Edition)

A system-neutral fantasy town setting for starting adventures in the middle of the action. Choose one of the town’s locations at random, then use its description, occupants, and the adventurers’ circumstances to establish the opening situation. Characters may seek employment, goods, information, or escape, while local residents offer jobs involving recovery, delivery, protection, or silencing an enemy. The booklet supports connections between locations and leaves the relationships and motives open for development. It is designed for use with wilderness and sandbox campaign material, and this edition does not include the 20 encounters found in the PDF version.
