Kharkov, May 1942: The Last Disaster

A campaign system for battalion-level WW2 miniature wargames covering the second battle of Kharkov in May 1942. Two to four players direct Soviet and German forces across two attack axes, deciding when to commit formations to battles and using their results to determine campaign advances and possible encirclements. The campaign spans six to fifteen daily turns and generates around ten to fifteen battles involving brigades or regiments. The book includes campaign history, optional rules, orders of battle and reinforcements, platoon-level organisation tables, terrain squares for generating battlefields, a colour campaign map, and conversion notes for several rule systems.
