Centuries ago, Shendmesis, the Black Pharaoh of Nubt, was defeated by Neferu’s magic and armies. His cursed body was destroyed, but his essence was divided among four amulets and hidden by his last allies in a black pyramid deep in the desert. The funerary complex of Hunra-uat remains concealed by powerful spells, protecting its secrets from prying eyes.
