This supplement adds grim and perilous combat detail with separate Moderate, Serious, and Grievous injury tables for each body part and weapon type. Injuries include effects such as arrows impaled from wrist to elbow and movement penalties for leg wounds. It also introduces 15 combat-oriented Drawbacks, including Frequent Seizures, Restless Sleep, and Uncontrolled Retching. Rules cover piecemeal armor, including qualities, encumbrance, hit locations, armor damage, a revised Damage Threshold chart, and simple upgrade tables for opponents.
