Legends Untold: Weeping Caves Novice Set

Players control a band of novice heroes exploring a network of subterranean caverns filled with monsters, traps and NPCs. The game plays cooperatively for 1–8 players in about an hour, using card-based scenarios, map-building as locations are uncovered, and 3 six-sided dice to resolve tests. Players customize their heroes with talents, weapons, outfits and kit, then work together to overcome obstacles, complex foes and social encounters using assisting mechanics and risk/reward choices. Eight scenarios guide a linked narrative and offer varied objectives; multiple solutions to challenges provide different rewards and encourage teamwork and tactical planning.
