Manic at the Monastery

An old-school adventure for characters of levels 2–4, set in an ancient monastery perched above sheer sandstone cliffs. The monks have vanished, strange lights flicker from the buildings, and rumors spread that the enigmatic Veiled Emperor has returned. Players explore the monastery, investigate its psychedelic affliction, confront the horrors within, and uncover the source of the madness before it spreads. The adventure includes versions for Old-School Essentials and Worlds Without Number, and can serve as a standalone scenario, a hexcrawl location, or the start of a new campaign.
