Memento Mori / Memento Vivere

A surreal tabletop roleplaying setting and adventure set in Anon, a dark demiplane where the living and dead coexist. In the city of Vestige, built over ancient crypts and the entrance to the spirit world, characters face pirates, swamp monsters, ghosts, madness, and the absurdity of existence. The included adventure begins with characters stranded on the mist-shrouded Ghost Island and challenges them to solve puzzles, uncover secrets, and escape the land of the dead. The book adds rules for ghost characters, manikin bodies, madness, ghost powers, new spells, backgrounds, monsters, locations, factions, and magic items. It is largely system-agnostic, supports several editions of the world’s most popular roleplaying game, and includes a rules-light system for standalone play.
