Mercenary Commander (fan expansion for Risk 2210 A.D.)

This commander uses trickery and cunning to support an army in battle. Attacks are resolved with an eight-sided die, and hiring the commander adds a 20-card deck of tactical effects to the game. The cards provide MODs for offense and defense, along with options such as defensive measures, minefields, paratroopers, last stands, dirty death traps, and changing allegiance. The deck can be combined with other commander abilities to expand tactical choices.
