Monastery of the Marble Palm

A remote monastery occupies a colossal blue-marble hand rising from the dunes beside the sea. Its monks study the hand’s strange magical phenomena, including localized earthquakes and pulsing veins of stone, while developing their ki powers. The site can serve as a waystop, the residence of a powerful NPC, or a compact adventure location in an ongoing campaign.
