Investigations combine forensic science with interviews, chases, and the analysis of unusual abilities. Detectives use specialist procedures to identify mind control, energy attacks, and genetic links between powers while managing their own mutations and personal issues. The GUMSHOE rules focus on keeping investigative play moving by ensuring key clues are available.
