Mythic Britain

A historical-fantasy roleplaying sourcebook set in 5th–6th century Britain where magic and legend shape politics and warfare. It provides background on tribes, territories, saints and pagan gods, plus cultural and historical detail for campaigns in the post-Roman Dark Ages. Players create Briton and Saxon characters using RuneQuest-compatible rules, learn period magic, and use massed-battle mechanics for clan and regional conflicts. The book includes a linked campaign of seven scenarios in which characters serve legendary figures, hunt for lost treasures, confront Saxon invaders, and navigate political and mystical intrigues across the island.
