Old-School Essentials Classic Fantasy Basic Rules

A rules-light fantasy role-playing game about exploration, danger, monsters, and magic. Players create clerics, fighters, magic-users, or thieves, equip their characters, explore dungeons, resolve encounters and combat, and cast spells. The rules cover character creation, adventuring equipment, weapons, armour, dungeon procedures, combat, and first-level spells, with an emphasis on clear table use and improvisation. The system is compatible with classic Basic/Expert-era adventures.
