Pandemic: State of Emergency

Adds three new challenges that increase the difficulty and variety of play. Introduces an animal-to-human transmission variant, unpredictable emergency events, and a fifth “superbug” disease that cannot be treated normally. New roles, event cards, and quarantine mechanics support these modes. Players work together to manage outbreaks, research cures, deploy quarantines, and, in the superbug mode, develop and produce vaccine doses to eradicate the untreatable pathogen.
