Playing the Game

A Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure begins when a group of peasants accepts a wager from a strange, extradimensional traveler. The 16–20 zero-level characters face tests of elemental loyalty, skill, combat, and wit while seeking the ultimate prize. The adventure includes a full-size map and game board, rules for the in-world game of Arbakampsi, and three new Patrons with associated spell rules. It is designed as a zero-level funnel and can be adapted for characters of any level.
