All the princesses from the classic fairy tales are gathering to celebrate a 5-day party in Rebel Princess. Prince charmings, who have not been invited, will do all they can to sneak in and propose marriage to them. As modern and independent princesses, we will have to carefully think how to avoid their proposals! The game is about playing cards from the four different suits: queens, fairies, animals and princes and, as with any other trick-taking game, the player playing the highest card from the suit that started the current trick, wins it. At least in theory… since the game is divided into 5 rounds, representing the 5-day length of the party, and each of them will have a special rule, making things totally crazy on every new game. We will have to be careful not to win tricks including prince cards, since each of them represents a marriage proposal, and the player with less proposals at the end of the 5 rounds will be the winner. Be specially aware of the enchanted frog, as it counts as 5 proposals in one single card! At the beginning of the game, every player will choose one from ten available princesses, that will grant them a special power that can be used once per round. We have fallen in love with Rebel Princess from day one. It takes us back to the days when we played trick-taking games at home and with friends, but with a twist, or three, and a totally crazy result. An incredible card game that should belong in every gaming library. Rebel Princess is for you if you like: - Trick-taking games, but you were looking forward to upgrading them somehow. - Games with family and friends in which no one is safe from harm. - Classic fairy tales, but you’ve always wanted princesses to step up for real!
