Recon

A percentile role-playing game about small-unit reconnaissance missions during the Vietnam War. Players lead teams of LRRP, SOG, SEAL, Delta, PRU, or Phoenix operatives through 34 operations, searching jungle terrain and engaging Viet Cong forces. Missions begin with insertion by helicopter, river patrol boat, HALO parachute drop, or SCUBA. Mapless terrain generation speeds preparation, while rules cover artillery, airstrikes, and helicopter gunships, including miniguns and napalm. After the war, characters can continue their careers as soldiers of fortune in 19 additional missions.
