Samurai of Legend

A roleplaying setting set in Japan’s Heian Period, when Shinto traditions, Buddhism, the Imperial court, and emerging Samurai influence shape society. It provides new professions and backgrounds, character-creation guidance, and details on the era’s religions, customs, and martial classes. Players can portray members of the Imperial court, Samurai, or other figures navigating questions of duty and honour. The setting also includes Japanese monsters and myths, with optional rules and guidance for introducing Ninjas.
