In 1914, four young members of a German student fraternity remain behind in a villa when the rest of the order is called to war. A creature is imprisoned in the cellar, while the students’ ideals of honor and masculinity sharpen their rivalries. This psychological horror scenario follows the characters as they confront repressed desires, occult forces and one another in ritualized fencing duels. Duels use a physical mechanic involving contact between players.
