Shadows of Brimstone: Other Worlds – Caverns of Cynder

Players explore a hostile alien cavern system threaded with molten lakes, alien pathways and ductwork used to channel lava. Teams navigate branching map tiles while facing creatures that lurk in tunnels and elemental foes that rise from the magma, managing eruptions and advancing lava that change the battlefield. Gameplay uses new double-sided tiles, encounter decks, artifacts and enemy figures to populate scenarios. Movement and positioning matter: certain fiery spaces inflict damage, and high Agility grants extra dice to resist burning. Clothing and equipment interact with heat rules, forcing trade-offs between protection, encumbrance and susceptibility to heat exhaustion.
