She Who Must Be Obeyed
An extended encounter for a DragonQuest Majesty campaign centers on a village marriage tradition. Girls must seek approval from a nearby harpy, who is said to steal their firstborn child if the proper homage is not paid. The party escorts a bride-to-be and brings sugary fruits, live goats, and a storyteller to entertain the harpy. If suitably impressed, the harpy asks the party to perform a favor in exchange for magical amulets.
