Sheriff of Nottingham: Gen Con 2014 Promo Set

A promo pack adds six new item cards to the merchant-and-sheriff bluffing game, expanding smuggling and penalty options. Three items (Olive Oil, Strawberry Mead, Golden Silk, Dragon Pepper, Heavy Crossbow) act as value-boosters: when smuggled successfully they increase the value of other goods of the same type. Brimstone Oil can be held for end-game gold or discarded immediately to destroy an opponent’s pair of legal goods. Players continue to negotiate, bribe, and bluff while adapting hand and bag choices around the new card effects and potential end-game scoring.
