Sigismundus Augustus: Dei gratia rex Poloniae

Players each lead a 16th‑century noble House in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth and try to increase their family’s prestige at home and abroad. Gameplay mixes worker placement and auctions: send clients to recruit supporters, muster troops, sponsor artists, or conduct diplomatic missions, and use bidding during Sejm sessions to win offices and pass (or block) laws. Private armies with infantry, winged hussars, and artillery enable raids, plundering, and military interventions against rivals. The game spans 1548–1572 and scores players on political influence, military strength, cultural patronage, and international alliances.
