A roleplaying setting inspired by the Golden Age of Piracy, where pirates raid Spanish galleons, adventurers seek buried treasure, and the dead walk the streets of Port-au-Prince. Players can create characters such as sea dogs, buccaneers, and shantymen, with new backgrounds, prestige classes, and rules for Voodoo magic, including gris-gris, zombies, and the Loa. The book includes cinematic combat rules, naval combat with statistics for period ships, Caribbean maps and gazetteer material, campaign advice, an introductory adventure, pirate treasure, and a bestiary of mythical creatures.
