No — an Outpost prevents opponents from attacking you directly and prevents your non-Outpost bases from being attacked or targeted until all your Outposts are destroyed (see pages 10 and 14).

Yes — Bases remain in play until destroyed or scrapped (they are not discarded at end of turn), and you may use a Base’s Primary Ability once per turn at any time during your Main Phase (see page 10).

Ally abilities trigger as soon as you have another card of that faction in play regardless of play order; once triggered the Ally ability may be used any time during your Main Phase, and a Double Ally requires two other cards of that faction (see page 11).

No — acquired cards are placed into your Discard Pile and are not considered played, so you cannot use their abilities until you draw them later; also replace the bought card in the Trade Row immediately (see page 13).

Yes — Trade and Combat go into pooled Trade and Combat resources you can add to and spend during your Main Phase; however, any remaining Trade or Combat is lost during your Discard Phase at the end of your turn (see pages 12–14).
