Players field one or more small, unshielded craft armed with twin laser cannons, maneuvering to gain firing arcs and swarm opponents. The expansion adds multiple pilot options, including a veteran who gains bonuses when attacking from astern, allowing players to customize squadrons and tactics. Gameplay focuses on tactical movement, positioning and managing limited firepower across fast, fragile ships to overwhelm enemies through numbers and maneuvering.
