Johann, the mayor of Karstenberg, seeks help after two miners disappear from the village’s small silver mine. The mine provides the villagers’ only income, and the missing men leave behind scattered equipment but no bodies. The characters investigate the disappearances and explore the mine, uncovering the dangers beneath the Old World.
