The Ascension

A three-part roleplaying adventure set in Athas during Free Year 12. The Dread King returns to the surface world as an army of light casts one of the seven cities into darkness, leaving the land marked by war and bloodshed. Players take part in the Day of Light, undertake a quest, and face the events surrounding the king’s attempt to become a god. The adventure requires the Dark Sun 3 core rules and standard fantasy roleplaying rulebooks, with additional setting material available for the game master.
