The Desolate Waste: Campaign Sourcebook

A post-apocalyptic science-fiction campaign for a modified version of the Gruntz 15mm skirmish rules. Players create a Crew Leader and 2–5 Crew Members, developing their backgrounds, classes, goals, abilities, equipment, and allegiance to one of 11 power groups. Crews struggle to obtain food, water, clothing, armor, weapons, ammunition, transport, and fuel while meeting contacts, taking jobs, searching for salvage, and surviving random encounters. The campaign includes 25 linked scenarios, a sample crew, and a complete description of the town of Crossroads, where the story follows Earl Moore and his road crew against Viola Chance and an invasion from Precinct 8. Rules for specialists, commanders, and large monsters support varied skirmish encounters.
