An escaped professor from Arkham Asylum has disappeared after suffering a mental breakdown while researching medieval occultism. His unfinished work suggests that old Western European secret societies, persecuted in their homelands, may have continued their activities in the new country. Players investigate the professor’s theories and search for clues surrounding the surviving occult organization.
