The Janus Influence
Interstellar Ambassador Brandt Vaslovik’s reputation is threatened when he begins promoting the extremist views of Exaltarch Vuud IV of Ardanis. The characters discover that the ambassador’s family is being held hostage and are tasked with rescuing them before he delivers a speech that could cement ties between the ruler and the interstellar government. This one-page science-fiction adventure is designed for Cepheus Engine and other 2D6-based tabletop RPGs, and accommodates characters from varied career backgrounds.
