The Lord of the Rings

A cooperative campaign where a small band of hobbits attempts to destroy a corrupting ring while surviving Sauron’s influence. Players each control a different hobbit with a unique ability and play quest cards to advance across four conflict boards representing major encounters from the trilogy: Moria, Helm’s Deep, Shelob’s Lair, and Mordor. Quest cards with matching symbols move characters along tracks for fighting, hiding, traveling, and friendship; cards also let players collect runes, unlock legendary cards, or recover life tokens at safe havens. A master board tracks physical progress and increasing corruption; if Sauron’s corruption reaches a hobbit or the Ring-bearer is eliminated, the group loses. Victory requires carrying the Ring to Mount Doom and casting it into the fire.
